Voyage HS Bach (2015)

Voyage HS Bach

Our voyage on HS Bach started in August 2015 in the port of Rotterdam where we signed on together with two other Romanian officers and very good friends. Although we were all acquainted with the vessel – after having spent more than five months on board in 2013 – we were a little skeptical about its route and future trade due to the uncertainty of charter extension.

Going ashore in Liverpool

Liverpool

The city of Liverpool is situated in the northwestern part of England, on the Liverpool Bay, close to the point where the Mersey River flows into the Irish Sea. It is the second most important port of Great Britain – after London – being a very important centre for exporting grain, food and wood. Liverpool was made famous during the ’60 and ’70 by The Beatles and it still represents a symbol for the music lovers around the world.
